Join the Surfrider Foundation Eastern Long Island Chapter and East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue for an afternoon focused on surf safety and ocean awareness! 🌊

This free community event brings surfers, swimmers, and ocean lovers together to learn essential ocean safety protocols, including identifying rip currents, surf zone awareness, rescue techniques, and how to stay safe in changing ocean conditions while surfing.

Whether you’re new to the water or a seasoned surfer, Surf Safety Day is a great way to connect with your local ocean community and gain practical skills to keep yourself and others safe.

12 - 12:15pm: Sandpit Area — Welcome  

12:15 - 1:45pm: On Beach — Safety Lessons           

1:45 - 2pm: Sandpit Lounge — Wrap up/Warm up, Light refreshments/warm beverage station by Joni's

"In water" activity will take place if waters are deemed safe to do so - also by Ocean Rescue.
