Join Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) for one of our two celebrations of Tap Dance! Thanks to a generous grant from North Fork Side by Side Foundation, the North Fork will not only be getting their first Tap Show, but over the past 3 months OFVS has been able to provide free tap classes at the Cutchogue Library, North Fork Academy of Dance, and Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center to get new and veteran tap students prepared to perform in the show. Students from these classes will present their tap routines alongside featured performers including the Butterfly Effect Project’s Elite Squad Step Team, the North Fork Community Theater’s cast of Anything Goes with a sneak preview performance of “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and dancers from the Our Fabulous Variety Show studio and competition programs. This production will also showcase classic routines like the “Bojagles” stair dance, Shirley Temple’s “On The Good Ship Lollipop”, “Anything Goes,” and Take Five along with new and revived routines.
