Family-Friendly Afternoon of Horses, Pony Rides, Demonstrations, Tours, and More

Looking for a memorable way to celebrate Father’s Day Weekend? Join Stony Hill Stables and the Stony Hill Stables Foundation for a special Open House on Sunday, June 21, from 1:00–4:00 PM, welcoming families, horse lovers, former riders, and community members for an afternoon of equestrian fun and discovery.

Set on the beautiful grounds of Stony Hill Stables in Amagansett, this free community event offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore one of the East End’s premier equestrian facilities, meet trainers and riders, learn about the Stony Hill Foundation’s mission, and enjoy a variety of activities for all ages.

Guests can enjoy:

• Pony Rides for Children with a suggested donation of $40
• Pony Rides for Dads (and Moms)
• CoCo and Cat Pop Up Store
• Hobby Horse Club kickoff
• Barn Tours and behind-the-scenes access to the facility
• Jumping Demonstrations featuring talented show riders
• Dressage Presentations showcasing the elegance and athleticism of dressage horses
• A special Reunion Ride for former students who rode with legendary instructors Liz and Wick Hotchkiss
• Social Hour and Q&A with trainers, staff, and foundation representatives
• Complimentary refreshments and snacks
• Stony Ponies and Hobby Horse sales – 100% of the proceeds go to support scholarships for local youth

The Open House is designed to celebrate Stony Hill’s rich history while introducing visitors to the programs and opportunities available through both the stables and the Foundation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for families to spend Father’s Day together, experience the joy of horses, and connect with the Stony Hill community,” said organizers. “Whether you are a longtime rider, a former student, or simply curious about the equestrian world, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”

Founded as a center for excellence in horsemanship and rider education, Stony Hill Stables has been a cherished part of the East End community for generations. The Stony Hill Foundation works to expand access to equestrian experiences through educational programs, scholarships, and community outreach initiatives.
