The 5th Annual Springs Garden Party returns on Saturday, July 11, for an elegant summer evening benefiting the Springs Food Pantry. Held in the beautiful gardens of hosts Greg McCarthy and Peter Bickford, guests will enjoy cocktails, seasonal hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a lively auction and raffle—all in support of nearly 400 local families served each week by the Pantry. This year’s event will also celebrate the Pantry’s farming partners: Amber Waves, Balsam Farms, Quail Hill Farm, and Share the Harvest Farm.

Perfect for children ages 4–10, this is the second workshop in our four-part children's series at East Hampton Historical Farm Museum. Presented by ReWild Long Island / South Fork and sponsored by Kiwanis of East Hampton.

The Buds are blooming, the birds are singing, and The Church is welcoming you to its Fourth Annual Spring Jubilee! This family-fun day celebrates spring, creativity, and community and has a little something for everyone. Enjoy interactive exhibition activations, specifically designed for kids and their families. Get hands-on during our Creativity Bubble with loads of arts and crafts activities that will spark creativity and fill your day with joy. Grab lunch from K-Pasa and Sen out in our garden. Take a stroll through The Sag Saturdays: Off Main Market on our main floor, a new feature that brings together some of Sag Harbor’s wonderful makers and entrepreneurs.

11 AM – 12 PM: THE “LITTLE” EXHIBITION TOUR (included in pass) 
Explore The Church, learn about art, and let the little ones ring The Church bell! In this exhibition tour, specifically designed for ages 3 – 7, engages the little ones in various interactive activities. Learn about our latest exhibition, A Thousand Words: The Photography of The New Yorker
in a way that’s fun and easy for the whole family to enjoy. 
12 PM – 2 PM: CREATIVITY BUBBLE (included in pass)
Create a family birdhouse, plant a seed in your own tiny take home planter, and get your hands on some model magic clay in our Creativity Lab. Step outside and enjoy the ever popular Slime workshop courtesy Hamptons Community Outreach. Let your imagination run wild as you visit our face painter and transform into a character of your own choosing. Blow actual bubbles in our garden. 
12 PM – 2 PM: ON-SITE LUNCH POP-UP (pay on-site per order)

Grab a taco (and a margarita!) from K-Pasa or pick out your favorite Sushi roll from Sen! We gratefully welcome our community partners for the afternoon. Whether here for the Jubilee or just passing through, stop by and grab a lite bite at The Church. All food is pay per order. Cash and Card accepted. 
2 PM – 3:30 PM: SCAVENGER HUNT (included in pass)
Team up and race the clock to see if you can answer the riddles and find all the hidden gems throughout The Church. Designed for kids ages 7 -12, this afternoon activity will delight and tickle your brain as you employ your creativity to solve the clues. 
11 AM – 3 PM: SAG SATURDAY: OFF-MAIN MARKET (free) 
This year The Church is thrilled to partner with Sag Saturdays to host the Off-Main Market.

ARTS CENTER AT DUCK CREEK FARM

The Arts Center at Duck Creek (<a href="https://www.duckcreekarts.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.duckcreekarts.org/</a>) is pleased to present What the Garden Remembers, a solo exhibition by artist Avani Patel. The exhibition will be on display in the Little Gallery from Saturday, May 9 through Sunday, June 14 with an opening reception on May 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. An Artist’s Talk will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 3 p.m. 

Through paintings and drawings, Patel explores the relationship between memory, ecology, and lived experience. Her work draws from early memories of her mother’s garden and natural landscapes, translating these experiences into layered compositions filled with organic forms, rhythmic patterns, and imagined environments. Rooted in both observation and intuition, her practice reflects a deep connection to nature and the ways it is remembered, felt, and reimagined.

"My work explores memory, nature, color, and movement. I grew up in India, and the memory of my mother's garden and my sister's performances are woven deeply into everything I make. When people come to my show, 'What the Garden Remembers,' I want them to connect with the joyfulness in these works, and with the culture that inspired them,” shares Avani Patel.

Patel’s work engages with pattern, repetition, and ornamentation visual languages that echo the structures of the natural world and resonate with the rhythms of the human body. Her paintings invite viewers to slow down and immerse themselves in intricate surfaces where color, line, and texture unfold over time, creating spaces for reflection, curiosity, and connection.

Alongside her studio practice, Patel is actively engaged in public art. She is currently developing a large-scale public installation at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, expanding her exploration of nature into immersive, site-specific environments. In June, she will also complete a mural project in Downtown Brooklyn, further contributing to the city’s cultural landscape through community-centered work. Later this year, Patel will present a solo exhibition at Jamaica Center for Arts &amp; Learning, continuing to expand her practice across both gallery and public contexts. Her work has been widely exhibited and has received critical attention in publications such as Hyperallergic, Artnet, and The Woven Tale Press.

Join Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) for one of our two celebrations of Tap Dance! Thanks to a generous grant from North Fork Side by Side Foundation, the North Fork will not only be getting their first Tap Show, but over the past 3 months OFVS has been able to provide free tap classes at the Cutchogue Library, North Fork Academy of Dance, and Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center to get new and veteran tap students prepared to perform in the show. Students from these classes will present their tap routines alongside featured performers including the Butterfly Effect Project’s Elite Squad Step Team, the North Fork Community Theater’s cast of Anything Goes with a sneak preview performance of “Blow, Gabriel, Blow,” and dancers from the Our Fabulous Variety Show studio and competition programs. This production will also showcase classic routines like the “Bojagles” stair dance, Shirley Temple’s “On The Good Ship Lollipop”, “Anything Goes,” and Take Five along with new and revived routines. The Arts Center at Duck Creek (<a href="https://www.duckcreekarts.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.duckcreekarts.org/</a>) will present “Residual Light,” a collaborative group exhibition that brings together female artists that work with alternative process and camera-less photography. The exhibition opens May 9 and will remain on display through June 14, with an opening reception on May 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. Additionally, a hands-on Cyanotype &amp; Lumen Print Demo will be offered on Sunday, May 17 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and an Artist’s Talk will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. in the John Little Barn. 

Eight Women Reimagine Photography Through Material, Light, and Transformation
The group of female artists includes Andrea Cote, Kaitlyn Danielson, Debora Francis, Galina Kurlat, Amanda Marchand, Anne Arden McDonald, Wendy Small and Shoshannah White. Embracing analog methods not just as tools but as collaborators, these artists allow chance, materiality, and process to shape their outcomes. Through this lens, the work celebrates experimentation and the unexpected. Each artist pushes the medium beyond traditional boundaries of representation into realms of the sublime, the abstract and the unknown. 

Rooted in the natural world, the celestial, and the body, the exhibition feels urgently of this moment: a quiet but powerful counterpoint to a world marked by political uncertainty, ecological fragility, and a collective reckoning with systems long in need of change.

“We’re excited to introduce these artists’ experimental work to the East End community. Duck Creek’s historic John Little Barn that was once an artist’s studio - a place for creative exploration - is a perfect setting for these artists’ work that traces back to early historical photographic processes, bringing a contemporary approach and curiosity. At this time when one can generate and manipulate a digital image in seconds, these artists engage with a slow, tactile and absolutely present way of camera-less creation with light,” shares Andrea Cote, co-curator of Residual Light.

Sunlight as Studio: Hands-On Cyanotype &amp; Lumen Printing Demo for All Ages
The Hands-on Demo: Exploring Cyanotype and Lumen Printing in Sunlight will take place on Sunday, May 17 from 12 – 1:30 p.m. and will be hosted by artists and curators Galina Kurlat and Andrea Cote. The artists will present an engaging introduction to early photographic processes and their contemporary resurgence through handmade, experimental techniques such as lumen prints and cyanotypes. This hands-on demonstration invites participants to explore the creative possibilities of alternative photography while learning how light, time, and material interact to produce one-of-a-kind images. Attendees will have the opportunity to create and take home one sun-developed artwork per demo. Open to ages 6 and up. Coppola, a multifaceted performer and Senior at Ross School, joins us at The Church for a special one-of-a-kind evening of songs and stories designed to delight, inspire, and lift our spirits. Melodies with Michael is an intimate concert that journeys through a range of musical styles, from beloved musical theater classics to contemporary pop favorites. Hear favorites like “Out There” from The Hunchback of Notre Dame and “Somewhere” from West Side Story and more! Featuring a curated selection of songs and artists that have shaped his voice and passion, Michael invites the audience into his world, sharing not only the music he loves, but the personal experiences and artistic growth behind it. Michael is joined by collaborative pianist Amanda Jones.
From a duet with Kristen Chenowith to a solo performance at the Birdland Jazz Club, Coppola’s budding career is beyond impressive and speaks to his commitment to his craft.
