will be the launch of Golden Hour Sundays with waterfront Live Looping Tropical House music by Gordon Daniels. This weekly performance will last through the month of August, with the exception of Sunday, July 5th.
Performing in more than 100 countries around the world, he has gathered creative inspirations from the cultures and styles found on his travels and is now producing an upbeat, unique one-man live looping show full of multi-genre influences, tailor-made for rooftops, beaches, and sunsets in gorgeous destinations. Using live-looping technology, Gordon curates his performances on the spot, combining a multitude of instruments, with no prerecorded tracks. Everything is improvised, live, and made on the spot, so every show is a one-of-a-kind experience that is never repeated. His style combines the many genres with the upbeat styles of tropical and melodic house.

ARTS CENTER AT DUCK CREEK FARM

The Arts Center at Duck Creek (<a href="https://www.duckcreekarts.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.duckcreekarts.org/</a>) is pleased to present REDYELLOWPINK, a solo exhibition by artist Jorge Rios. The exhibition will be on display in the John Little Barn from Saturday, June 27 through Sunday, August 2 with an opening reception on June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. 

Jorge Rios’ work is rooted in the history of abstraction and driven by process. He combines gestural brushstrokes, drips, and stains with graphic elements like grids and patterns rendered in highly saturated pigments. 

"I prioritize stylistic variety over a consistent visual identity. My paintings are like a funhouse mirror on which different artistic movements and attitudes are reflected while conveying a sense of ongoing jest,” shares Jorge Rios.

Recurring motifs such as the black-and-white grid carry layered meaning, connecting modernist ideals to the artist's upbringing in Havana, Cuba, where utopian rhetoric and cultural contradiction were facts of daily life. Emigrating to the United States in 2013, the artist has remained attuned to states of flux and dislocation, conditions that find form in paintings where opposing forces like artifice and sincerity, structure and accident, coexist without resolution. Stylistically varied and resistant to a fixed identity, the work uses abstraction as a site of open questioning rather than certainty.

The exhibition titled Everything and Nothing, will be on display in the Little Gallery from Saturday, June 27 through Sunday, August 2 with an opening reception on June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. 

The exhibition will feature a series of monochromatic drawings and oil paintings that feel surreal, futuristic, and urgently alive. Richardson draws on the speed, light, and seduction of custom car culture, music, and film to propel his illusionistic forms through their own gestural orbit at Formula One velocity.

Jean-Christophe Castelli, son of Leo Castelli who gave Richardson his debut show in 1987, brilliantly describes Richardson’s work as having eyes that “point in all different directions—to art of the past (Matta, early Mondrian), psychedelic comics and posters, the duck-rabbit optical illusions of Jasper Johns, B Movies, hot rods, Loony Tunes and Popeye, all dancing around to a dissonant, surf-guitar soundtrack.”

It is worthwhile to note that the coastal landscape of Montauk, where the artist lives, paints and surfs, also appears in these works not as subject matter, but as atmosphere… A tidal stage for his restless cosmic glyphs.

Established in 2012, the Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a not-for-profit program offering scholarships for equestrian training for local youth. The scholarship includes training lessons over a four-month or longer semester. Training includes hunter/jumper equitation or dressage training, horse care, clinics, and competitive show activity. The goal is to promote equine sports, riding education, and good sportsmanship, providing local children with a healthy and enhancing life experience. 
​Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) program providing a unique atmosphere for local children to become skilled in equine sports, build friendships, and connect to the East End Community.

St. Luke 's Episcopal Church

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites the community to the annual St. Luke’s Summer Fair on Saturday, July 5, on the church lawn in the heart of East Hampton Village.
A treasured East Hampton tradition, the Summer Fair is a joyful day for families, neighbors, parishioners, and summer visitors. Admission is free, and children’s wristbands will be available for $40 for children ages 2 and older to enjoy fair activities, including classic games, pony rides, and other family-friendly fun.
Guests can also enjoy a food stand, bake sale, vintage clothing, silent auction, and other favorite fair traditions. Proceeds from the Summer Fair support St. Luke’s and its outreach efforts, including local nonprofit partners such as Springs Food Pantry and Maureen’s Haven.
Free parking is available off Maidstone Lane behind the museum.
