
Presented by National Black Theatre and the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA), On Our Toes in the Hamptons: Building Our Heaven comes to Guild Hall on Sunday, August 2. Blending live music, dance, and spoken word, the program features acclaimed pianist and composer Damien Sneed, soprano Angela Renée Simpson, bass Solomon Howard, poet Mahogany L. Browne, Evidence Dance Company, and musicians from The Orchestra for Tomorrow. Together, they explore the enduring legacy of Black artistry through classical repertoire, African American sacred traditions, jazz, and poetry in a powerful afternoon of performance and cultural expression.
