Camp Shakespeare Returns for 14th Summer
Was your child born to entertain? Here's the rundown on Hampton Shakespeare's one- to two-week theater camp.

The Hamptons Shakespeare Festival will be holding its 14th annual Camp Shakespeare this August in Amagansett.
The camp will be held at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 486 W Montauk Hwy, in one- and two-week sessions, running from Aug. 5 to 9, and the week of Aug. 12 to 16.
Camp Shakespeare is geared toward campers ages 8 to 15 who spend the session being taught acting, improvisation, movement, voice, and theatrical arts and crafts, by trained theater educators. Each session ends with a camper performance for family and friends.

"When I think of all of the kids who’ve gone through the program, some of whom came back year after year and the way that they got so much out of it, it just makes me so happy that it's continuing," said Hamptons Shakespeare Festival artistic director David Brandenburg.
The Hamptons Shakespeare Festival is a nonprofit organization that has been running on the East End since 1996 offering free outdoor performances.
