Clamshell Foundation's 33rd Annual Great Bonac Fireworks to Kick Off This Weekend

The Clamshell Foundation will be hosting their 33rd annual Great Bonac Fireworks featuring Grucci fireworks this weekend.

The event will take place at Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton on Saturday starting at 9:20 p.m. Rain date is Monday, June 20.

Recommended viewing locations include the beaches at Maidstone Park and Sammy’s Beach, Gann Road, or any of the beaches off of Hands Creek Road Springy Banks Road as well as the head of Three Mile Harbor.

There are also restaurants on the Harbor, but no matter where you decide to watch them, go early because it fills up quickly.

The proceeds from the event benefit numerous local charities.

The three-decade long tradition almost faded into history, but in 2009, the East Hampton based Clamshell Foundation began reviving the popular event.
