HOST INTERFAITH SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
East Hampton, NY – Episcopal, Baptist, Jewish, Catholic and Presbyterian clergy will conduct an interfaith service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, January 14, at 4 PM. Following the service there will be a potluck dinner to which the entire community is invited. The purpose of the event is to unify our community with music, prayers, and songs. The event fulfills Dr. King’s belief that “worship at its best is a social experience with people of all levels of life coming together to realize their oneness and unity under God.”
