Congregants, Friends Celebrate Beloved Rabbi's Birthday
A beloved rabbi marked a special day in East Hampton this week. Happy Birthday to a faith leader who touches so many lives!
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Congregants and friends took time to celebrate the birthday of a beloved faith leader who has devoted his life to helping others.
Tuesday was the Big Day for Rabbi Leibel Baumgarten of the Chabad of East Hampton. A small group from the congregation gathered at his home to hear the rabbi's stories, both personal and about the Torah — and to honor a life well-lived in service to all.
