Drunk Driver Cuffed After Crash: Cops
He was also driving without an interlock device, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A drunk driver was arrested after a crash in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Oliver L. Dantes, 38, of East Hampton, was arrested on June 26 at 9:54 p.m. on New York State Route 114 near Hardscrabble Close. He was driving a 2002 Ford Econoline south when he was in a crash, police said.
Upon investigation, Dantes was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, bloodshot, glassy, eyes, slurred speech, was unsteady on his feet and refused to perform all field sobriety tests, police said.

Dantes has a previous conviction of driving with .08 percent or more alcohol in blood out of Southampton from Dec., 2016, police said.
Dantes was arrested and charged with DWI, previous conviction of designated offense within 10 years, a felony; use leased/rented/loaned vehicle not equipped with an interlock device, a misdemeanor; and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation, committing aggravated unlicensed operation 2/alcohol or drug, a felony, police said.

Cash bail was set at $2,500, police said.
