Drunk Driver Injured After Crashing Car: Police
The drunk driver was arrested on March 27, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A drunk driver was injured after he crashed his car in Montauk, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Alan R. Marcelino, 23, was arrested on March 27 at 6:02 p.m. on Montauk Highway, near the intersection of Old Montauk Highway in Montauk after he was heading west in a blue 1999 Acura and was injured in a crash.
Upon investigation, he was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, bloodshot, glassy eyes, and slurred speech, police said.

He was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1 percent alcohol or more in blood, first offense, a misdemeanor, and driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, police said.
Bail was set at $300, police said.
