
EAST HAMPTON, NY — An investigation is underway about a dump truck that was on fire while parked in an Amagansett driveway, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, the department's detective division and the Suffolk County Police Department's arson squad is investigating the fire, which took place on Wednesday at 11:53 a.m. on Neck Path, damaging a 2007 Ford F-550 dump truck.
The fire was extinguished by the Amagansett Fire Department, police said.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call the East Hampton Town Police Department at 631-537-7575. All calls will be kept confidential.
