EAST HAMPTON, NY — The search is on for a pair who swiped a pricey purse from an East Hampton shop, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Village Police Department detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman and man who stole a handbag valued at $2,700 from What Goes Around Comes Around, located at 48 Main Street, on Aug. 11 at 3:50 p.m., police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
