East End Wind Energy Forum Takes Place Saturday in East Hampton
Saturday's free event is organized by Renewable Energy Long Island.
EAST HAMPTON, NY- East Hampton residents continue to examine the benefits of wind energy.
On Saturday, a free East End Wind Energy Forum hosted by Renewable Energy Long Island aims to introduce residents to the benefits of offshore wind energy and cover topics concerning environmental protection.
The event takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the East Hampton Middle School Auditorium, located at 76 Newtown Lane in East Hampton.

Experts and advocates will give presentations on how wind energy can play a part in a truly sustainable energy vision for East Hampton and the East End of Long Island, according to Gordon Raacke of Renewable Energy Long Island.
Also in attendance will be John Sousa-Botos from the Town of East Hampton's department of natural resources and Cint Plummer of Deepwater Wind.
