East Hampton Man Charged In 7-Eleven Slashing: Cops

The man was slashed and suffered multiple laceration in the fight, police say.

MONTAUK, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested after he slashed a man during a fight outside the Montauk 7-Eleven early Sunday morning, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, the incident took place at 4:51 a.m.; John Valentin, 30, of Montauk, was slashed and suffered multiple lacerations during a fight. He was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for treatment of his injuries, police said.

Christopher S. Pulido, 26, was arrested at the scene and charged with second degree assault and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said. He is slated to be arraigned at East Hampton Justice Court on Monday.
