East Hampton Man Choked Victim: Police
The man was charged with a misdemeanor, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY - An East Hampton man was charged with choking a victim last week, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Dwayne O. Morris, 27, was arrested on May 2 at 7:19 p.m. on Kopka Court in East Hampton and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, applying pressure, a misdemeanor.
Police said Morris allegedly grabbed the neck of his victim with his hands and applied pressure, causing difficulty breathing. He was also charged with harassment in the second degree, physical contact, a violation, police said.

He was released on his own recognizance, police said.
