East Hampton Man Sexually Abused Child From Time She Was 10 Until She Was 14: Police

The man, a local landscaper, abused the child from 2022 until 2025, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested after sexually abusing a female child on multiple occasions, police said.

According to East Hampton Town police, detectives arrested the man following an investigation that determined that the sexual abuse began in 2022, when the child was 10 years old, and continued until 2025, when she was 14.

Elias Eleazar Corado DeLeon, 21, of East Hampton, was arrested Thursday at his home by the East Hampton Town Police Department detective division and charged with one count of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a Class B felony; three counts of first-degree rape, all Class B felonies; one count of first-degree attempted rape, a Class C felony; one count of second-degree rape, a Class D Felony; and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.

Corado DeLeon is being held at East Hampton Town Police Department headquarters and is scheduled to be arraigned at East Hampton Town Justice Court on Friday, police said.

Corado DeLeon works as a landscaper for 3MB Inc. Landscaping Services, located on N. Main Street in East Hampton, police said.
