East Hampton Man Tries To Forcibly Steal Police Officer's Gun: PD
He's facing a felony charge, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested recently after he tried to grab a police officer's gun, authorities said.
Pablo A. Gutama-Bermeo, 19, was arrested at 7:11 a.m. on March 12 on Fanning Avenue in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town police, Gutama-Bermeo, while being subdued by officers, attempted to forcibly disarm an officer by repeatedly pulling on and grabbing his duty weapon, a Glock 19 pistol, in an attempt to dislodge it from its holster.

He was arrested, charged with third-degree attempted robbery, a felony, and released on his own recognizance, police said.
