East Hampton Student's Artwork Spotlighted At Polar Bear Plunge
The winning artwork chosen by the pantry's board of directors is used for participant hats and merchandise at the event.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton High School student's artwork will soon be spotlighted at this year's Polar Bear Plunge.
According to the East Hampton Food Pantry, Gizel Espinal was named the winner in the annual Polar Bear Plunge logo contest.
Each year, students from East Hampton High School submit logos for the annual New Year’s Day fundraiser at Main Beach. This year, the event, "Freezin' For A Reason," takes place at 1 p.m., with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Aubrey Peterson, East Hampton High School counselor and East Hampton Food Pantry board member, recently presented Gizel with a certificate of appreciation, along with a $25 gift card for her winning entry.
