East Hampton Town Receives Certificate of Achievement For Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) announced that the Town of East Hampton was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.

An Award of Financial Achievement was given to Charlene Kagel, CPA, Chief Auditor, and Len Bernard, Budget Officer, who were designated by the government as primarily responsible for preparing the report.
