East Hampton Town Set To Host Job Fair

The fair will offer info on employment opportunities with the town, the civil service process, and ways local government serves community.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Those hoping to learn more about career opportunities within East Hampton town will soon have the chance.

The Town of East Hampton will host a job fair on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon in the main meeting room at Town Hall, located at 159 Pantigo Road in East Hampton.

The job fair will give residents and prospective applicants an opportunity to learn more about employment opportunities with the town, the civil service process, and the many ways local government serves the community, official said.

Representatives from the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service will be on site, along with the town’s human resources department and representatives from the East Hampton town police, recreation, code and animal control, highway and sanitation departments.

"East Hampton is fortunate to have an extraordinary team of town employees who show up every day with professionalism and real care for this community," said East Hampton Town Supervisor Kathee Burke-Gonzalez. "Their work is what keeps our town moving. We are proud of our staff, and we are excited to welcome anyone interested in public service to come meet our team and learn more about career opportunities with the town."
