Karin Immerman of Southampton, who is up for the Woman of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will hold a fundraiser "Laps for a Cure" at the YMCA East Hampton RECenter. Participants can raise money in three ways: $5 per lap, $1 per lap or .50 cents per lap. It's open to swimmers of all ages, who will be assigned lanes according to swim speed. All proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Payment by cash or checksmade payable to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on the day of the event.
