The New York State Safe Boating Class will be taught by qualified U.S. Coast Guard instructors at the Montauk Lake Club on Saturday, August 4th. The one day class will cover various aspects of safe boating for power boats, sail boats and persoal watercraft, including maintenance, New York State legal requirements for safety equipment and navagation rules. Certification is required for operating boats in New Jersey waters as well as for operating a PWC in the Tri-State area. The class will be from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
