SUP RACE FOR THE BAYKEEPER

As you may know we at Main Beach are sponsoring the Hamptons 2012 SUP race series. The first race is in support of the Peconic Baykeeper at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor, May 19th 8am registration.

This cause is super worthy, particularly with the new Waste Water Management initiative starting in East Hampton town.

Kevin Mcallister the Baykeeper is an important part of this effort.

Rectifying 350 years of abuse to our groundwater and local waterways is no easy task. If you would please spread the word on this event for support and participation we would greatly appreciate it. It is listed on the Main Beach web site/events section. http://www.mainbeach.com

The race will offer a Recreational class for fun, a 12-6 Stock class and a 14 Elite Race class. There is a race category for everyone, truly a fun race for all levels. Pre-Registration is $40 and $50 day of the race. Call the shop at 631.537.2716 to sign up or make a donation. All proceeds go to the Baykeepers clean water initiative.
