Fire Marshal: No Cause Determined Yet in Springs House Fire
Investigators say fire possibly started on the exterior.

The hasn't found a cause yet of the a fire that broke out in a Springs house on Monday afternoon.
Chief Fire Marshal Dave Browne said his office is investigating the blaze at that left the house inhabitable due to fire and smoke damage in the rear both stories.
"We're still looking for the cause," Browne said, adding that he couldn't say whether it was suspicious in nature or not.

However, he said it looks like the fire may have started on the exterior. The fire burned out the exterior wall, the back of the house and traveled upstairs.
The house was rented and his office was only just getting in touch with the tenant, who had left the house the previous night, he said.

According to the tax receiver's office, the house is owned by Marjorie and Martin Conlon.
Browne's office is re-tracing the wiring. Fire marshals also canvased the outside of the house for a point of origin, such as a cigarette butt. "We didn't find a single one," he said.
