GoFundMe: Montauk Resident Needs Help Raising Money For Medical Expenses

Vanessa Wynn has started a fundraiser campaign on GoFundMe for Henry Sjoman, a commercial fisherman from Montauk, who needs help raising money for medical expenses.

Last month, Sjoman was involved in ATV accident when he crashed with another man riding an ATV, John R. Veitch, 31, also of Montauk.

As a result, 24-year-old Sjoman is currently suffering from a traumatic brain injury, according to the GoFundMe page.

Wynn is hoping to raise $250,000 to cover Sjoman’s extensive medical expenses, and since starting the page on Sunday, has raised $8,785, according to the page.

“Henry’s a type of guy who would never hesitate to give the shirt off his back to help a friend in need,” Wynn writes on the GoFundMe page. “He has a huge heart and is a very loved brother, friend and uncle.”
