Hampton Ballet Theatre School to Present 7th Annual Production of Nutcracker

There will be shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) will be presenting their seventh annual production of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker this weekend.

The shows will take place on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at Guild Hall’s John Drew Theater located on 158 Main Street in East Hampton.

Advanced ticket sales are $20 for children (under 12 years of age) and $25 for adults for general orchestra seating.

Day of performance tickets sales are $25 for children (under 12 years of age) and $30 for adults for regular orchestra seating.

Premium orchestra, box seats, balcony and group rates are also available.

The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski.

Resident guest artists Adam and Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company will be dancing the Arabian Prince and Princess.

Dancing the role of Dew Drop Princess will be Rose Kelly a Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS and dancing the role Dew Drop Prince will be guest artist Nick Peregrino of Ballet Fleming in Philadelphia.

Sharing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy will be Abigail and Caitlin Hubbell, both Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS.
