Hamptons International Film Festival Kicks Off

The festival will continue throughout the weekend until Monday.

The Hamptons International Film Festival kicked off on Thursday night with the opening night screening of ”Truth” at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

Several famous guests including actor Dennis Quaid, director James Vanderbilt and producer Brad Fischer attended the event, according to HIFF.

Actor Josh Charles, Chef Bobby Flay, New York Critics Circle President Marshall Fine and screenwriter Michael H. Weber, also made an appearance.

The festival will continue throughout the weekend until Monday.

On Friday night, the festival will continue with the East Coast premiere of “Youth” at the Southampton Regal Bay Cinema at 43 Hill Street starting at 7 p.m.

On Saturday night, the festival will premiere their centerpiece film “Spotlight” with two screenings at 8:45 p.m. at Guild Hall on 158 Main Street in East Hampton, or at 9 p.m. at the Regal East Hampton Cinema at 30 Main Street in East Hampton.

On Sunday night the centerpiece film will be “Carol” playing at Guild Hall starting at 12 p.m.

The last film to be shown at the festival will be “Bridge of Spies” playing on Monday at 7 p.m. at Guild Hall and at 7:30 p.m. at the Regal East Hampton Cinema.
