But now, Condé Nast Traveller has named the Hamptons as one of "Best Summer Holiday Destinations 2017".

The post, which lists an array of luxury international "beachy hideaways," points out that even with its "reputation for being exclusive," the Hamptons are a great destination for families with children, "a down-to-earth spot where your crew will enjoy fresh-air freedom."
