Independence Day Miracle for 2 Puppy Mill Dogs Who Found Forever Homes: Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons
The dogs were adopted together on July 4, finding freedom and a home together, happy ARF staffers said this weekend.

EAST HAMPTON, NY - In a true Independence Day miracle, two dogs puppy mill dogs found their freedom and forever home on July 4, thanks to the efforts of the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons in Wainscott.
According to a post on the group'sFacebook page, "There wasn't a dry eye in the shelter this morning as two dogs who only knew life in a puppy mill were given their independence in the form of a forever home. Libby, a 9 year-old Labradoodle and Spencer, a 12 year-old Standard poodle came to us as a bonded pair from a mill," the post read.
"We had hoped for a home for them where they could live out their golden years together, and today our prayers were answered. Our profound thanks to their (camera-shy) adopters for allowing them to finally live together, outside of a cage," the post continued.
