Irish Eyes Smiling At World's Shortest St. Pat's Parade: Photos
Amagansett went green this weekend for the world's shortest parade that's long on fun and good times.
AMAGANSETT, NY — The Amagansett Chamber of Commerce's 11th Annual Am-O'Gansett Parade, the world's shortest parade, was certainly long on excitement and fun on Saturday, as grand marshals Loretta Orion and Hugh King joined East Hampton Town board members in leading the parade down Main Street.
Joining the marchers were Dianne Ryan and Gordon Ryan, who will lead the Montauk Friends of Erin St. Patrick's Day Parade as grand marshal on March 24.
After the parade, a crowd headed to the library for a proclamation by East Hampton Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc; the event included cupcakes for the kids.

"Sunshine, good people, and a parade — what could be better?" the Amagansett Chamber of Commerce said.
