Jackson Pollock's Birthday Celebrated In Springs
The community will celebrate the life of the iconic American artist who lived in Springs.

SPRINGS, NY — The community will celebrate the birthday of an icon this month, as they honor the late American painter Jackson Pollock at the Springs Tavern.
The event, to be held at the tavern, located at 15 Fort Pond Blvd. in East Hampton, will take place on Sunday, Jan. 28, Pollock's actual birthday.
Pollock, who lived in Springs and died in 1956, was an abstract expressionist known for his drip paintings.

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. and features art, nature, and a $30 prix fixe menu, with recipes inspired by Jackson Pollock.
