'Love Letters To Amagansett' Contest

If you love Amagansett, here's your chance to tell the world why — and win a prize, too!

AMAGANSETT, NY — If you can't get enough of Amagansett, including what could be the world's shortest parade, "Mr. Amagansett" contest, and arguably some of the best music in the Hamptons at The Stephen Talkhouse, here's your chance to show the love.

To honor its 100 years of "keeping Amagansett beautiful," the Amagansett Village Improvement Society has organized a "Love Letters to Amagansett" contest.

To enter, explain why you love Amagansett in 100 words or less.

All entries receive a prize and there are three grand prize winners — adult, youth, and child.

Entries will be judged on content, creativity, originality and fresh point of view, organizer said.

Participants should submit entries by February 7 to info@amagansettavis.com. Include a name, email, phone number and age.

The decision of the judges is final. All entries become the property of the Amagansett Village Improvement Society.

Winners will be be announced on February 14 on the A.V.I.S. website here.
