Man Arrested After Burglarizing Montauk Surf Shop: Police
He's facing a felony charge, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Dix Hills man was arrested after he burglarized a Montauk surf shop recently, police said.
According to East Hampton Town police, Matthew A. Policastro, 38, was arrested on July 22 at 2:20 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Montauk and charged with third-degree burglary, illegal entry with intent to commit a crime, a felony; and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.
Policastro entered and exited Air & Speed Surf Shop multiple times through a rear basement door while removing numerous items of merchandise each time, including money and Sticky Bumps surf board wax, all of which belonged to the store's owner, police said.
