Man Caught With 6 Bags Of Cocaine: Cops

Cash bail was set at $3,000, East Hampton Town Police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was busted after he was caught with six bags of cocaine, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Brian J. O'Dwyer, 22, was arrested on Sept. 9 at 3:56 a.m. on Cosdrew Lane, near Ancient Highway, and charged with fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: cocaine 500 milligrams, a felony, after he was found to have two plastic bags of cocaine on his person, and four plastic bags of cocaine in his black 2013 Toyota Tundra, weighing more than 500 milligrams.

He was also charged with driving while ability impaired by the consumption of alcohol, an infraction, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said.
