Man Caught With Cocaine, Crack Pipe: Police

The man had cocaine weighing greater than 500 milligrams, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Westhampton man was found with cocaine and a crack pipe in East Hampton, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Kamil Ozer, 52, was arrested in Montauk on Saturday at 10:01 p.m. on Route 27 near South Essex Street after he was found with greater than 500 milligrams of "small pieces of a white chalk-like substance" that field tested positive for the presence of cocaine, and a crack pipe.

He was charged with fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, cocaine 500 milligrams, a felony, police said.

Cash bail was set at $5,000, police said.
