Man Caught With Cocaine In East Hampton: Cops

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested after he was caught with cocaine, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Franklin W. Dolan, 39, was arrested on Saturday at 12:07 a.m. on Fort Pond Blvd. and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Dolan had a clear plastic bag in his right hand containing a white, powdery substance that later field tested positive for the presence of cocaine, police said.
