Man Charged With Burglary, Possession Of Stolen Property: Cops

The man was held in lieu of $25,000 bail, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Quogue man wanted on a burglary warrant was apprehended, according to East Hampton Village Police.

According to police, Ned Wessels, 36, was arrested on Jan. 11 on Buell Lane and picked up by Suffolk County Police.

He was charged with second degree burglary, no forced entry, a felony, and third degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, police said.

He was arraigned in East Hampton Village, held in lieu of $25,000 bail and transported to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility by Suffolk County Sheriffs, police said.
