Man Charged With Felony Violated Sex Offender Registry Rules: PD
He was charged with a felony after violating sex offender registry requirements, police say.
WAINSCOTT, NY — A Wainscott man was arrested after he violated sex offender registry requirements, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Dennis R. Walker, Jr., 50, was arrested on January 4 at 3:35 p.m. in Wainscott and charged with violating sex offender registry requirements, second offense, a felony.
Walker, Jr. changed his address without notifying the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services within 10 calendar days, as required by New York State corrections law, police said. Walker, Jr. also had two previous convictions for violating sex offender requirements, in 2019 and 2011, police said.
