Man Chokes, Kicks, Punches Victim: Police
The man also violated an order of protection, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was arrested after he punched, pushed, kicked and choked his victim, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Cristian E. Carvajal-Herrera, 22, was arrested on Saturday at 3:42 a.m. and charged with second degree harassment, physical contact, a violation, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, applying pressure, a misdemeanor, and first degree criminal contempt, violation an order of protection, physical contact, a felony.
Carvajal-Herrera allegedly pushed, punched, and kicked his victim, as well as grabbing their neck and applying pressure, causing difficulty breathing; he also violated an order of protection issued in February, police said.

Cash bail was set at $500, police said.
