Man Gouges Jeep With Key, Causes $2K In Damage: Cops
Bail was set at $1,000, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A man was cuffed after he keyed a car in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Juan Pablo Farez, 33, was arrested on Aug. 12 at 9 p.m. on Maidstone Park Road N. after he scratched the exterior of a 2009 Jeep Liberty with a key, causing deep gouges in both the passenger and driver side panels as well as the front grill and bumper, with damages totaling $2,000.
He was charged with second degree criminal mischief, a felony; cash bail was set at $1,000, police said.
