Police: Arrest Follows Underage Drinking Party With 30 Minors

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A New York City man was arrested after he hosted an underage drinking party with approximately 30 young people found consuming beer, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Boura Bugra Durmas-Ogullari, 25, was arrested on July 28 at 12:44 a.m. at Stirrup Court in East Hampton.

He was charged with allowing the consumption of alcohol by minors at a private residence, prohibited, a misdemeanor.

Durmas-Ogullari hosted the party, at which alcoholic beverages, including Budweiser, Corona, and Heineken were served to and consumed by individuals under 21, police said.

He was also charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after he was found with 24 and one half round blue pills stamped "B9715," 17 oval blue pills stamped "COR132" and one beige/brown capsule stamped "G456", all later identified to be amphetamine dextroamphetamine, also known as Adderall, which was located in this pants pocket in an unmarked prescription bottle, police said.

In addition, Durmas-Ogullari was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after he was found with 7 and one half oval, yellow pills stamped "8901", later identified as Alprazolam, also known as Xanax, which was located in his left pants pocket in an unmarked prescription bottle, police said.

Bail was set at $500, police said.
