Update: Police Identify Man Killed in East Hampton Estate Construction Accident: Police
The tragedy took place on Further Lane, police said. The $147 million home was the most expensive in the nation when it sold in 2014.

Original story: A 55-year-old Ronkonkoma died after a fall Tuesday morning from a home on Further Lane in East Hampton Village, police said.
The accident took place at 8:43 a.m. at 62 Further Lane, when the man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of family, lost his balance while working on the second floor and fell 12 feet to the concrete floor below, East Hampton Village Police said.

The victim was transported to Southampton Hospital by East Hampton Village Police β Suffolk County Aviation was called but was not able to fly due to weather, police said. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
The 18-acre Further Lane estate, dubbed the most expensive home in the United States, was once owned by Christopher Brown and made headlines when it was purchased for $147 million by hedge fund manager Barry Rosenstein in 2014, according to the New York Post.
