Man Pulled, Pushed Victim To Ground: Police

He's facing a felony charge for violating an order of protection, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Montauk man was arrested after he pushed and pulled a victim to the ground twice, violating an order of protection, police said.

According to East Hampton Town Police, Joel I. Abrue-Rondon, 27, of Montauk, was arrested on Nov. 1 at 1:20 a.m. in Montauk and charged with first degree criminal contempt, violating an order of protection, physical contact, a felony, and second degree harassment, physical contact, a violation.

Cash bail was set at $3,000, police said.
