Man Slashed With Box Cutter Outside Montauk 7-Eleven: Cops
The man was slashed in the face, above his left eye, and in the forearm — and required 40 stitches, police say.

MONTAUK, NY — An intoxicated man was arrested after he slashed a person's face with a box cutter in Montauk, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Christopher S. Pulido, 26, of Afton, NY, was arrested on Sept. 2 at 4:50 a.m. at 653 Montauk Highway in Montauk, the location of a 7-Eleven, and charged with second degree assault, intent to cause physical injury with weapon/instrument, a felony, after he slashed a man's face, above his left eye, and his right forearm with an orange box cutter, "a dangerous instrument, causing severe lacerations, bleeding, significant pain and requiring approximately 40 total stitches."
He was also charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, intent to use, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, fight/violent behavior, a violation, police said. While in an intoxicated state, Pulido was observed fighting with multiple patrons outside of the establishment, causing a public inconvenience and annoyance, police said.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond; Pulido was released into the custody of the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department, police said.
