Man Trying To Flee Police Forced Cars Off Road: Cops
He was going 82 miles per hour in a 55-mile per hour zone, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY β A Brooklyn man was arrested after he tried to flee police and forced cars off the road in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Norberto A. Polanco Rodriguez, 49, was arrested on Sept. 20 at 8:36 p.m. on Montauk Highway in East Hampton after he was caught speeding in his 1993 Dodge, failing to keep right, driving over pavement markings, failing to maintain his lane, and forcing multiple vehicles off the roadway after a police officer put on the overhead lights and siren in a marked police vehicle to pull him over.
He accelerated his 1993 Dodge, heading east on Montauk Highway to Napeague Lane, speeding 82 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone in further attempts to flee after the lights and sirens were activated, police said.

Polanco Rodriguez was charged with third degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and reckless driving, a misdemeanor; bail was set at $700, police said.
