Montauk Seafood Festival: Great Family Montauk Event this Weekend
Both Saturday and Sunday 12-5pm in two tented locations (Montauk Marine Basin) and next to the Viking Fleet

This weekend. both Saturday and Sunday, Sept, 11-12, The Montauk Friends of Erin and the East Hampton Kiwanis Club are presenting their 4th annual, "Montauk Seafood Festival." Admission is $2 (noon to 5PM both days) and kids get in for free! Free parking is available so if you haven't been out to Montauk yet this summer here is a reason to go. The weather forecast is excellent.
Two large tents will be set up, one at 426 Westlake Drive in Montauk (Montauk Marine Basin) and the other at 543 Westlake Drive near the Viking Fleet and Henry Uihein's Marina down in the Harbor District of Montauk. There will also be a free ferry ride from location to location ideal for the kids!
This is a unique chance to sample both the pride and skill of the local world renowned chef's of Montauk abilities in preparing seafood. There will be live music provided by 4 local bands, so yes children and parents will be dancing too. Wine and beer will be sold, LOL legally of course.

Many Montauk restaurants along with some other East Hampton restaurants will be participating in presenting the best seafood ever. The proceeds are reportedly going to various charities such as Toys for Tots, Pediatric Trauma, and to help support the Friends of Erin parade in March.
This post "Tumbleweed" Tuesday event will showcase the best of Montauk, its locals, and their families along with those who love all things Montauk.
