Mother Dies Of Pneumonia Complications, Leaves Heartbroken Family

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Tragedy struck a well-loved East Hampton family recently, and now friends are coming together to help a father and sons left behind after the sudden death of a cherished wife and mother.
A GoFundMe, "Luis Yanez’s Tragic Loss,"was created by Lucia Martinez in East Hampton and has raised $550 of its $10,000 goal so far.
On Feb. 22, Luis Yanes’ wife, Patricia Zamora, suddenly and tragically passed away due the complications from pneumonia, the page said.

"With funeral costs expected to run in the thousands of dollars, we’re hoping that the East End community — one Luis has been a part of for more than 20 years — can help shoulder this unexpected expense and allow Luis and his two sons to grieve during this heartbreaking time," the page said.
A wake has been scheduled for Saturday, March 2, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton.
