28-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In East Hampton Crash
The motorcyclist was ejected and struck a car after 78-year-old woman attempted to make a left turn in front of him, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, the crash took place at 5:11 p.m. when Christian Bermeo, 28, was riding a 2013 Yamaha south on Springs Fireplace Road and struck a 2018 Honda driven by a 78-year-old East Hampton woman who was traveling north on Springs Fireplace Road and attempting to make a left turn onto Cedar Ridge Drive.
Bermeo was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a 2014 Nissan that was traveling north on Springs Fireplace Road, police said.

Bermeo was transported by Springs Ambulance to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda was taken by Springs Ambulance to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for evaluation; the driver of the 2014 Nissan was not injured.
